Hey Navy Sports Fans,
What a great swim meet!! As exciting as any football game - and I do like
football. Victory was cinched with the last relay and what a fantastic
come-from-behind win for both the relay and the meet.. Navy trailed early
on. The first announced score was Army 86, Navy 83. But the Mids fought back
and took the lead by a slim margin. The scoring continued to be close. Every
event, every point mattered. Final score -- Navy 130 Army 113. Both Coach
Lawrence and Asst. Coach Moody took an victory dip in the Army pool along
with the celebrating Mids. It was a great day for Navy.
According to my Mid, the women's team also scored a victory on Thursday
night. I don't know the score, but he said it was a squeaker -- only two or
three points difference.

Congrats to the Navy swimmers - both Men's & Women's teams!! You guys were
inspired!

Score for the women's swim meet on Thursday was 151 Navy - 149 West Point.
The swim team did great but they really needed the dive team that help them
win this meet. Navy took first and 3rd on one meter and first and second on
3 meter. As you can tell I am the mother of a diver.

Brandi:

In addition to the phone number, (1-800/US4-NAVY and locally

Hi,

I just got home from an incredible week! Others have already expressed it
more elequently than I could, but seeing the BIG GAME in person was one of
the most fantastic experiences of all! I have never been so cold in all my
life, with even the marvelous tailgate at Hooters patio afterwards being
outdoors, but what a blast!!! Everyone should try to do it at least once.

Did anyone see the bell ringing ceremony on Monday? Did the mids get a free
weekend for next semester? Possibly two??? I was at the Pep Rally Thursday
night when the supe announced a free weekend would be given if Navy showed
more spirit and a better march-on. At the game the deputy-dant announced
that all mids would be given a free weekend if Navy won. My math says that
one plus one is two, but I don't want to bug my son right now, during finals,
to ask him. The Navy spirit was fabulous! I saw Army in the parade, but
missed Army march-on. Army marched really well, but Navy had more fun and
DEFINITELY more spirit!!!

It is only a little over a week until my son comes home again. I love this
time of year!!!

Go Navy.......Navy beat Army!!!
