Web site for karate team doesn't show all of the tournaments coming up, does anyone have any information on tournament in NJ (where, when, etc.) or on whether the Army/Navy tourney is on for sure on 4/13. Any info would be appreciated.
Thanks,

We are members of the NAAA and have received the forms to order tickets for
next falls football games (including Army/Navy). I understand that when
your Mid is a Firstie they can sit with you for the Army/Navy game (other
games also?). So, my question is, as I prepare to order tickets, do I need
to buy a ticket for my Mid so that she can sit with us. Or does she somehow
arrange for her ticket (seat) to be with ours?

I did ask my daughter these questions and she remarked that she had no idea
of the answer and she really didn't have the time to find out. She
suggested that I ask the Net. So - here I am. All you Firstie parents out
there - who did this last year for 2001 football. What do you say?

Thanks for your help.

Your daughter will NOT be able to sit with you for the Army/Navy game. The
Mids all sit together. She can visit you during the game - and, of course,
meet you after the game - but you should not buy her a ticket for THIS game.

That said, however, your Firstie daughter CAN sit with you in the stands at
any home football game played in Annapolis. You will have to put this on
your order. My season ticket order form actually has a place on it for
ticket orders for Firsties. It's heading reads: CL2003 MIDN (MID) SIT
W/FAMILY - Free

If your order form from NAAA does not have this - then call them (there is a
number on the form) to ask how you order the tickets for your Firstie Mid.

Hope this helps.

The Men's Rugby team won the MARFU (Mid-Atlantic Rugby Football
Union)championship this weekend by defeating Princeton 31-13 on Saturday and
Penn State 15-12 on Sunday. (Virginia Tech defeated Princeton in the
consolation game.)

As a result of their finish, Navy will enter the collegiate championship
tournament ranked 2nd in nation (behind defending national champion
California-Berkeley).

The next scheduled action for men's rugby will be at the Cherry Blossom
tournament, next weekend at Washington, DC. Among the other teams scheduled
to participate are Penn State, Ohio State, Virginina Tech, and Army.

If all goes well at the "Sweet 16" tournament, to be held at Penn State in
approximately 2 weeks, Navy will appear in the National Championship "Final
4," at Virginia Beach, VA, on May 4-5, 2002.
