To all,

For those of you who missed it when it was aired last year, the Discovery

on Monday, Labor Day, September 3, 2001

Sep 3 2001
Inside America's Military Academies
  9:00 AM - Episode: Surviving the First Year
10:00 AM - Episode: No Time Off for Summer
11:00 AM - Episode: The Making of an Officer

Please check your local cable stations to confirm the air times. Remember
to set the VCR if you have plans that take you away from your home on
Monday. If you do not receive the Discovery Channel, perhaps you have a
relative or friend who might be interested in taping it for you. It is an
excellent series. Check below for a synopsis of each of the three hour long
episodes.

It's three hours of great entertainment for those of us who can't get enough
of this stuff!!  :>)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Surviving the First Year
Military academies truly stand apart from other colleges and universities.
In addition to the grueling basic training, these institutions boast unique
physical and educational requirements - and rich traditions and history.
No Time Off for Summer:
Sweat alongside cadets and midshipmen for six weeks of grueling summer
training as each faces and tries to overcome their own mental and physical
limitations on land, in the air and at sea.
The Making of an Officer
Seniors at several military academies serve as examples of the high moral
standards and honor each institution strives to instill in its students.
Course work as well as extracurricular activities are often geared to
enhancing these qualities.
 To all...
This evening, WP-ORG (our host server) has been attacked several time by
wormlike attachments which come along in a blank email with an EXE file
similar to the following attached.
CFBICLCF.EXE
 If you receive this attachment from any west-point.org or navy-usna.org
listerver source,
DO NOT OPEN THIS ATTACHMENT.  IT IS A VIRUS.
 Simply delete the entire email and you will NOT become infected.
 It is a good practice to NOT open any attachments from anyone EVER, for
this  very reason.
 Please do not panic.  It is doubtful that you will get this from our NAVY
lists but I am choosing to err on the side of caution this evening and pass
along this cautionary notice.
 Go Navy - Beat Army.
