A special message from your USNA-Net Moderators...
==================================================

I'm siting here this morning looking out my window at the Blizzard of '08.
Winds gusting over 35 MPH with new snowfall of 12" expected this afternoon
before the whole thing finally blows thru Cleveland. Not much like Spring.

But regardless of what the weather looks like today, this is March and
Spring flowers can't be too far away. It's also that time of year again
when we have to beg our membership for donations to help with our SPRING
FUNDRAISER.

While USNA.org is 100% volunteer operated, we still have real expenses for
our web server, communications connections, and various hardware/software
needs. Just yesterday, our Safe Harbor Program rescued SEVEN Mids stranded
in Memphis (Thanks to the Fran and Tom Hesse for their assistance) when the
Mids called the Safe Harbor Toll Free 800 number.

None of this would be possible without YOUR donations when we hold our
fundraisers. To lessen the burden and make things easier for our members,
we went to a semi-annual format two years ago. We have to ask for 1/2 the
money each time we campaign but we now raise funds twice a year.

Your donations are entirely Voluntary. No one is going to insist that you
donate, nor will anyone suggest an amount. Each of us knows what the
service is worth to us and donate accordingly within our means.

We like to think of ourselves being like PBS. If you donate, you're helping
to support the continued presentation of all that wonderful programming. If
you can't donate at this time, we understand and want you to know that you
will still enjoy all of the benefits of membership in USNA.org.

But we differ from PBS in one very important way. We receive ZERO outside
support. Without donations from our members, there are no funds to cover
our expenses. We must hear from you in order to continue our good work on
behalf of parents across the country and around the world.

USNA.org is the largest resource for Parents of Midshipmen available
anywhere. We have over 4,000 Families subscribed with the Class of 2012
just beginning to come aboard. 19 Million words of Advice and Support in
our Archives over the past 10 years. 24,000 photos in our Photo Gallery,
and EIGHT Email Lists to provide up to the minute news, advice and
information. Safe Harbor assistance 24/7 for Mids plus the biggest, best
Parents Handbook on the web.

But without your support, all of this will cease to be. Without YOUR
donation (big or small) none of this can continue.

Please help TODAY. Visit www.USNA.org/donate08a/ and do your part to help
us help other parents. You may either mail in a check or donate On-Line
using our secure server connection. We accept ALL major credit cards (Visa,
Mastercard, Discover, AMEX and even your bank card plus PayPal if you
already have an account.) Our mailing address is on the donate page.

Won't you help? It's up to you.

Thanks,

PS. I'm better every day! Plan on returing to work full time on 4/1 and I
couldn't have done it without your thoughts and prayers. Thanks to all for
your help. - Mike.

A special message from your USNA-Net Moderators...
==================================================

Hello all,

As most of you know, we're in the midst of Spring Fundraiser here at
USNA.org. A number of you have already made donations, some of which were
quite generous and we wish to extend our most sincere thanks for your
generosity.

But most of our membership have yet to respond to our need and we wanted
remind you all that we are an all volunteer organization. USNA.org only
exists because of the volunteer efforts of our Moderators and Advisors and
through the generosity of YOU, our fellow members.

We rely upon you to provide the funds to cover our out-of-pocket expenses
for our Web Server, Internet Connections, Operating Software, URL
registrations, and other various sundry needs throughout the year. We even
fund the Toll Free 800 number for the Safe Harbor Program through our budget
as well.

Remember, too, that USNA.org supports 42 other Local Parents Clubs with URL
Registrations and 100% free web hosting for their Club Websites.

Without your support, all of this would simply vanish from the Internet.

We have a modest semi-annual budget (details are on the website) and with
over 4,000 families subscribed to our service, we should have no trouble
generating funds to cover it. But what we do need, is for our members to
take a moment to send off a donation.

If you haven't sent anything our way for a long time, perhaps TODAY is a
good time to step up and contribute a little something.

Think of it this way...

We're here for you, 24/7/365. Rain or Shine. When you have a question,
there are thousands of fellow parents, ready with answers, just a click of
the mouse away, whether it's 2 in the afternoon or in the wee hours of the
night.

PLEASE help us to keep USNA.org operating.

Visit the website at www.USNA.org and click on the DONATE button to donate
On-Line or send a check (payable to USNA-Net, Inc) to...

    USNA-Net, Inc.
    1457 E. Crossings Place
    Westlake, OH 44145

Any amount will help. Send what you can. Or better yet... Thinks about
what the service has been worth to you over the time you've been a member.
Some might say it's Priceless.

Just help as best you can.
