We have now begun our campaign for raising the funds necessary to keep USNA-Net operating for the next 12 months. USNA-Net is a FREE service for Parents of Midshipmen attending the United States Naval Academy. It is run for USNA Parents by the Parents of a Class of 2000 Graduate.
Our budget for this campaign is $6,000. These funds will be used to operate all of USNA-Net's functions in support of its USNA Listservers, Web Sites and Parent Suppport Groups. CLICK HERE for a link to our Budget which shows how we anticipate using those funds. USNA-Net has now finished building the infrastructure we feel is necessary to support the our Community. Our greatest asset is our flexibility to adopt the technology we know the community will need and use. We have added such features as a Search Engine for our Archives and for our Web Site, a Members' Only Chat Room, Classified Ads for Members Only, even Electronic Postcards and custom Wallpaper for our members' use. In addition, we recently expanded our operation to allow any USNA Parents' Club that wishes to operate their own private Parents' Club Web Site and/or Listserver to do so for the exclusive use of their local Parents' Club at no cost or obligation to the club. Please do us the honor of contributing to our campaign so we can continue to provide these essentially volunteer based services. Our volunteer moderators enjoy helping their fellow parents stay connected and informed.
