Needs List for Wounded

Please note these are suggestions that we have observed as being useful and appreciated by the wounded we see regularly. Most of these items are included in the duffel bags that are given out to each wounded Serviceman as they come to Bethesda.
EVERYTHING MUST BE NEW SIZE L AND X-L MOST NEEDED
(more L than XL)
Boxer shorts
White tee shirts (undershirts)
White socks (short/ankle socks) especially low right now
Athletic shorts (like the basketball shorts found at Walmart/Target)
Athletic shirts (sleeveless and with sleeves) (found at Walmart, Target, etc.)
Break-Away pants /snaps better than zippers
Plain/Marine Corps sweat shirts
Sweat Pants
Green USMC shorts (not the silky Daisy Duke ones!, but 50% polyester/50% cotton kind.
and tee shirts (found at the uniform shop)
Work out gloves (Neoprene seem to work best for use with wheel chairs, etc.)
Watches
Wallets (fabric/ USMC emblem are big hit)
Current/up to date DVDs (borrowed and traded among patients)
Phone Cards
TRAVEL SIZE: Head and Shoulders Shampoo
Old Spice Body Wash/ Axe Body Wash
Deodorant
Shaving Cream
Hand Sanitizer
Combs
Nail Clippers
