Q: What is USNA-Net? A: - USNA-Net is an automated e-mail remailing service available for use by anyone associated with the United States Naval Academy. Its primary function is to provide blind email access to the other members of the service through which any member may send e-mail messages to the other members without knowing all of their e-mail addresses. It has an associated Listserver, Plebe-Net, which functions in exactly the same manner as USNA-Net but is aimed primarily at Parents of Plebes as its name implies. Messages sent via USNA-Net can be of almost any topic including questions posed to other parents, advice shared between parents going through the same experiences, short narratives on happenings back home or at the Yard, reports of upcoming activities that relate to the USNA, etc. Almost anything goes as long as the message fits within our Rules of Operation. |
