Freedom, PA - April 18, 2010 USNA-Net announced today that effective immediately,
it will cease operations of it's Email Advice and Support Mailing Lists and begin an orderly move of it's web server
with an anticipated transfer date of May 31st, 2010. The website will continue (in an edited form) on a different server.
Our visitors should not notice any significant difference. Other Websites hosted by USNA.org will be transfered to the new server

With the increase in connectivity between Parents and Midshipmen attending the US Naval Academy, the need for USNA.org as
Go-betweens and Mentors has greatly deminished. Land Lines in every room, Cell Phones in every backpack, Netbooks, Email,
Facebook, MySpace and a host of other innovations over the past decade have made it easier for Parents to stay connected
to their Mids and each other.
Mike and Sandi Zets, Founders of USNA-Net, Inc., said, "We've spent thousands of volunteer hours helping Parents help each
other since our inception in 1997 and the 25 million words of advice and support in our archives are ample proof of our
dedication to our Mission but the time has come to move on. We've made countless friends around the world in the
past 12 years and want each and every one of them to know how much they have meant to us. We were all there for each
other, through the good times as well as the bad. We've laughed and cried together. But above all, we've shared
our Pride in being the Parents of a Midshipman, a future Naval or Marine Corps Officer, over and over again, in ways that
only a fellow Parent could ever hope to understand.
A Special Thanks goes out to our loyal Staff & Advisors for their dedicated service over the past years...
Richard & Laurie Albrecht, Linnane Haley, Sandy Skelton, Melanie Shong Helm, Bob Yoon, Dolf Biel, and many more.
